KOSTBARKEITEN - DEUTSCHER MARSCHMUSIK

The Central Band of the German Federal Armed Forces was formed in Rheinbach in 1957 as Schooling Band of the Federal Ministry fo Defense.  In 1959 it deployed to Sieburg (near Bonn) which has been its base since that time. Effective 01 July 2000 the Bonn Central Band was renamed 'Central Concert Band of the German Federal Armed Forces'. This foremost position underlines the central importanceof this band rich in tradition. As exemplary concert unit it is to represent the German armed forces in a becoming manner both at home and abroad.
