Our musical celebration of this great country begins with the most Scottish sound of all - the great Highland pipes. The Pipe and Drums of the Scots Guards play a medley of famous Scots folk songs in march time beginning with 'Scotland the Brave'. Another march follows, Laurie Johnson's composition for band named after Scotland's most enduring landmark 'Edinburgh Castle' features the fine playing of one of Scotland's two remaining military bands, The Lowland Band of the Scottish Division.
