On 1st September 1994 The Corps of Army Music, of which all Regular Army musicians are members, was formed together with its own small Headquarters at Kneller Hall, the home of the Royal Military School of Music. Bands within the Corps continue to retain their direct affiliations with their Original Regiments and Corps preserving their names, uniforms and music.
