When a theatre organ is 'transplanted' into a different venue, one never quite knows how it's going to sound. The size of the room, the position of the organ chambers and the over-all acoustics do, of course, give some sort of indication but not until the air starts flowing through the pipes can we really start to judge the effectiveness of the installation..Well, all I can say is that the Committee and Technical Team of the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust must be over the moon with this particular installation.
